RECREATIONAL PROGRAM 2025-26 at Lakeland Hills YMCA
Boys & Girls | Ages 4 - 10 Years Old
The Recreational program is designed to introduce young players to soccer knowledge and professional training, with a strong focus on long-term player development at a competitive pace. All sessions are led year-round by our team of experienced professional coaches.
This year, we are proud to offer the program as a 10-month commitment at Lakeland Hills YMCA. This extended format ensures consistent development and training on the same field throughout the year, providing an ideal environment for growth. Optional weekend games are also available for players looking to gain additional match experience.
Classes are held on Monday - Saturday, depending on age, giving families flexible scheduling options.
Families also have the option to register by season—Fall, Winter, or Spring—allowing them to tailor participation based on their individual needs and availability.

Classes are suitable for beginner, intermediate and advanced levels for both co-ed (boys and girls) from 4 to 10 years old.
No, our classes are designed for all levels of experience. Players may be split up based on soccer ability.
Our professional coaching staff will follow a specific program, including dribbling, passing, receiving, and shooting.
We offer 1 or 2 classes per week.
Classes are 60 minutes each.
We aim to have a ratio of 1 coach to 10 players. For our youngest classes, ratios may be lower for more individual attention as necessary.
We ask that all children arrive at the location 10 minutes before classes begin, and all attendees must wait for the coach before entering the school. Parents can wait inside the school.
Players should bring sneakers and a water bottle.
